Over the past year, College of Liberal Arts leadership and University Relations and Marketing have worked together to create a visual branding system for CLA that will give us a unified, consistent visual identity. This step not only enhances CLA, it brings us line with other Oregon State colleges who have adopted brand guidelines to strengthen their visual messaging.
The work has been successful. I am happy to introduce the first set of templates that have been created for each school as well as for the college.
With the release of our new Strategic Plan, it is even more important for us to have a consistent look and feel that will make CLA recognizable to all our audiences, from prospective students and their parents, to donors, faculty, and administrators throughout the university.
I thank you for your work and cooperation to help present a unified CLA. We realize that many of you have existing materials you have paid to design and print. We urge you to use those as you transition to this new system. We also realize that changes like this are incremental, and want you to know that you will be supported along the way.
We would also like to emphasize that these designs are customizable and flexible for those who have the skill.
If you have any questions, or if there is a template that is not available that would be useful to your school or unit, please contact CLA’s Director of Communications Celene Carillo at firstname.lastname@example.org.
