Ambassadors 2012-2013

CLA Ambassador GroupThe College of Liberal Arts Ambassadors represent majors from across all of the schools within our college.  They ‘tell their stories’ to prospective students and parents at a variety of on and off campus recruiting events.  They strive to present the ‘student face’ of the college and share their knowledge and love of their academic and extracurricular interests at Oregon State University.

We are currently accepting applications for CLA Ambassadors for the 2013-2014 academic year. All materials must be submitted by 5:00 P.M. on Friday, February 22nd to receive full

Meet your 2012-13 Ambassadors

The College of Liberal Arts Student Ambassadors ‘tell their stories’ to prospective students and their parents in a variety of on- and off-campus recruiting events. They strive to present the ‘student face’ of the college and share their knowledge and love of their academic and extracurricular interests at Oregon State University.

 

 Katy

Katy is a junior Honors Associate with a double major in Psychology and English.  She works in the BEIP psychology research lab and is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta.  She comes from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho but absolutely loves Corvallis.  She cannot wait to meet the new students!

Kendra is a senior majoring in Sociology and minoring in Actuarial Science.  She loves encouraging people to pursue their passions because happiness is what she values most! When Kendra isn’t in class or working on campus, she keeps busy playing soccer on OSU’s Club team.

 Daphne

Daphne is a sophomore majoring in Women Studies with a minor in
Visual Arts.  She works close to full time on campus and is looking
forward to the rest of her time at OSU and abroad.  She is exploring the
possibility of adding a minor in Spanish and studying abroad.

Morgan is a double degree History and Education major.  She is a junior who is involved in a variety of activities including her membership in Kappa Delta, a sorority at OSU. Morgan plans to pursue a career in teaching after graduation in 2014. She chose OSU because it felt like home after visiting numerous schools in the area.

Casey

Casey is a senior majoring in New Media Communications.  She is from Bend, Oregon and she has a passion for the outdoors.  She is a member of the Air Force ROTC at OSU and will graduate this spring as a second Lieutenant.  She has enjoyed every experience and opportunity that the OSU community has been able to offer!

Angel is a senior majoring in Sociology and minoring in Anthropology. She plans on going to graduate school to pursue her Masters in Social Work.  She likes scrap booking, going to church, baking goodies, and helping people.  She enjoys OSU because there are always new things to try!

Allison

Alison is a junior majoring in Speech Communication.  She is currently studying abroad in Chile in hopes of pursuing both a Spanish minor and an International Degree.  When she returns to campus Alison will take over as Vice President of Lambda Pi Eta, Oregon State's Honorary Commuication Fraternity.
