OSU’s Beyond Earth Day celebration is always packed with great events and this year is no exception! Mark your calendars now an event co-sponsored by Food in Culture and Social Justice, the School of History, Philosophy, and Religion, and Vegetarians and Vegans at OSU.

We hope you will join us Wednesday, April 25th for a talk by Dr. Geoff Barstow, Assistant Professor in the School of History, Philosophy, and Religion. Dr. Barstow will be speaking on the subject of his new book, Food of Sinful Demons: Meat, Vegetarianism, and the Limits of Buddhism in Tibet (2018).

  • Talk begins at 5pm in Milam Hall, room 318
  • Refreshments will be served at 6pm in Milam Hall, room 319. Vegan potluck dishes are also welcome.
