Fairbanks Gallery of Art is Oregon State University’s professional art gallery. Its mission is to initiate, produce, and present scholarly visual art exhibitions to advance contact and dialogue with original works of art as an indispensable part of liberal art education. The exhibition programming of the gallery reflects the diversity of visual-art practices and cultures, fostering critical thinking, and reflecting the depth and breadth of human experience. The exhibitions support the educational missions of Art and Art History and broaden the dialogue across University communities, including general audiences.
The gallery is open Monday through Friday, from 8 am - 5 pm. On the third Thursday of each month, the gallery is often open extended hours for the Corvallis Arts Walk (CAW). The gallery is open over the summer but may be closed on holidays and during spring and winter break. To confirm open hours, or to arrange for group visits, email email@example.com or call 541.737.4745.
