Art has an outstanding scholarship program for our majors. The scholarships at Oregon State are available for all art students based on their experience, interests in different Art fields, and financial needs. Art scholarships require an application and some may require a written letter in order to be eligible.

The art deparment has many different scholarships available for both new and continuing students with a wide range of selection criteria. Before submitting your scholarship application, please review the specific details about each scholarship opportunity.

Other scholarship and grant opportunities are available through the university. It is suggested that students apply early for finacial aid and admission to the University in order to be considered for these university scholarships. It is to your advantage to apply early for admission to the university in order to be eligible and considered for other scholarships. To be considered for an art scholarship at Oregon State University, you must:

  • Be admitted to OSU (if not a current student) OR
  • Be a current OSU student declared as an art or applied visual arts major with options in fine art, photography or art history. 

CONTINUING STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

If you are a continuing students who wishes to be considered for art scholarships, please submit the continuing art scholarship application form by May 5, 2017.

When submitting this form, you will also need to submit:

  • Optional: FAFSA Estimated Family Contribution (submit via email)
  • Required: Unofficial transcripts (submit via email)
  • (Optional) Writing sample
  • (Optional) Visual Portfolio
  • (Optional) Video entry

NEW STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

If you are a new new student (high school or transfer) who wishes to be considered for an OSU art scholarship, please submit the art scholarship application form by May 5, 2017.
