Support The Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program by making a monetary gift!
The Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program has grown over the past forty years, yet there is still much work to be done. With your encouragement and help, we can increase social justice knowledge and advance equality into the future here at Oregon State University.
Donations can be in any amount and will greatly increase our ability to fund and promote feminist causes both inside and outside the classroom. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Recent Guest Speakers such as Cherrie Moraga, Daniel Heath Justice, Grace Ji-Sun Kim, Kate Bornstein, and Hanan Hammad.
- Unique and groundbreaking courses such as Disney: Gender, Race, Empire; Women in World Cinema, Indigenous Queer and Two-Spirit Studies, Queer of Color Critiques, Queer Pop Culture, Men and Masculinities in Global Context, Arts and Social Justice, Global Perspectives on Women's Health, and Critical Race Feminisms.
Events like the Queer Film Festival, as well as others in collaboration with the Women's Center, The Pride Center, The Native American Longhouse, The Lonnie B. Harris Black Cultural Center, The Asian Pacific Islander Center, The Centro Cultural Cesar Chavez, and The Ettihad Cultural Center.
- Travel Seminars to India, Greece, Guatemala and the United Kingdom.
Thank you! Your gift to Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies is deeply appreciated.
