Jessica Lambert teaches violin and viola at Oregon State University and is concertmaster with the Corvallis-OSU Symphony Orchestra. She is a frequent recitalist and chamber musician throughout Oregon. Lambert previously played viola in the Oregon Symphony and violin in the El Paso Symphony under Gurer Aykal. She was concertmaster of the El Paso Pro Musica Chamber Ensemble and a featured soloist in the New Music series. She has performed throughout the United State and abroad, including performing at the Spoleto Festival in Italy as a recitalist and chamber player. A graduate of The Eastman School of Music, Lambert studied with Zvi Zeitlin and members of the Cleveland Quartet. Other major teachers include Alice Schoenfeld, Alexander Treger, and Stuart Canin. She currently lives in Corvallis with her two sons.
