Captain Ronald and Maryellen Tipper Marine Studies Scholarship
Purpose: To support students in the College of Liberal Arts enrolled in the Marine Studies undergraduate degree program who have demonstrated financial need.
Amount: Up to two awards of $1,000 each Criteria: The candidate must be a full-time student in the College of Liberal Arts enrolled in the Marine Studies undergraduate degree program

The application questions include:
- Please describe your educational and career goals, how you plan to accomplish them, and how your program(s) of study will facilitate those accomplishments. Please limit your response to no more than 300 words.
- Please describe your current financial situation and how you plan to pay your educational costs in the upcoming year. You also may include information about any significant personal challenges and/or unusual circumstances that may affect your ability to pay for college. Please limit your response to no more than 300 words.
- Please describe how your goals align with the Marine Studies major (see https://liberalarts.oregonstate.edu/MAST). Please limit your response to no more than 300 words.
