Ethno-botanist and author Gary Nabhan and local seed grower Frank Morton explored the stories and cultural practices of food and seed production during this benefit event for the Ten Rivers Food Web at Mary’s River Grange in Philomath. Nabhan and Morton talked about what food production and supply systems reveal about a relationship to the land and to food. Nabhan was in Oregon as writer-in-residence at the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest as part of the Long-Term Ecological Reflections program.
