Alia Yaich

Alia Yaich

Instructor - Marigold: The OSU Center for Contemplative Practice

United States

With over 30 years of experience bridging Western medicine and Eastern healing traditions, Alia brings a deeply integrative approach to yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. As a registered nurse, somatic therapist, yoga teacher, and Reiki master, her work is grounded in both clinical wisdom and holistic, body-based healing. She spent many years living within the mystical culture of Bali, where she studied with indigenous healers and spiritual guides from around the world. This experience continues to inform her teaching with reverence, intuition, curiosity, and a deep respect for nature and ancestral knowledge.

Alia strives to create spaces of safety, presence, and possibility, where individuals can reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and trust their inner wisdom. Her teaching is rooted in gentle awareness and the belief that healing unfolds when we feel safe, seen, and supported just as we are. She loves to stroll along mountain paths, tend to her rose garden, and curl up with a good novel.
