I am currently a Ph.D. Student and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the School of Public Policy, Oregon State University. I am driven by a strong commitment to making an impact in my community. In 2015, I interned with the Global peace development, a Civil Society Organization in Delta State, Nigeria. I was involved in engaging the community and proffering solutions to issues bordering on conflict and infrastructural challenges. In 2019, I co-founded a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in my home country Nigeria called the Renaissance for Excellence Initiative (RExI), focused on youth and national development. I currently serve as the Chief Executive Officer of this organization. In 2020, in response to the youth agitations for better governance and accountability of the Nigerian government, my co-founder and I spearheaded the Renaissance Generation Program. A virtual program that provides a platform for young individuals in Nigeria and Africa to discuss a blueprint and workable plan that would create the desired changes in Nigeria and the African society. As part of this program, I have hosted and continues to host various virtual strategy sessions covering key developmental topics in Africa. My research interests lie in international and social policies; some areas I'm interested in includes human capital development, immigration, and the impact on the economic development of developing nations. I received a B.Sc in International Relations and Diplomacy from Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. I also have a Master's in Public Administration from the School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) at Rutgers University Newark, New Jersey.
