Kara Keller

Hi! I grew up in the arid desert of Arizona, then spent two decades in snowy Colorado, before landing in Oregon to be closer to family and discover the wonder of foggy days.

I graduated with a creative writing degree from the University of Arizona and have worked in higher education since 2012 in a variety of different roles. The constant goal has been helping students find their way through the little and big things that school brings.

Outside of work, I enjoy the cozy hobbies of solving puzzles, knitting, baking, and figuring out what to grow in the garden. I also try to get out to the coast every once and awhile to smell the ocean and spot a whale.
