Ken Saul

Ken Saul, principal trumpet with the Corvallis-OSU Symphony and the Willamette Valley Symphony, received the Bachelor of Music in Performance from San Francisco State University where he studied with Joseph Alessi, Sr.
He continued his music studies in composition at SFSU and at the Juilliard School. Ken also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (OSU '87) and a Master of Science in Engineering Management.
Retired from HP, Ken runs his home business, Ultra-Pure Oils LLC (this has since been bought by Eastman Music Company), and teaches trumpet students in his home studio. You can often hear Ken performing with various ensembles in our region, including the Corvallis Community Band, the Corvallis Repertory Singers, and the Willamette River Chamber Trio (violin/viola, trumpet/flugelhorn, and piano).
