My path has been a long and winding one (want more details? Listen to my interview on the Career Journey Podcast by Dr. Brittany Avila).

Briefly, I earned my undergraduate degrees at the University of Florida in 2007. After that, I earned my Master's degree at the University of California Davis (2009). In 2010 I started teaching biological psychology at American River College, which ignited my absolute passion for teaching. In 2013 I took my first position as a tenure-track psychology faculty member at Sierra College in Gainesville, Florida. Upon moving to Corvallis, Oregon, in 2015, I applied to OSU for my doctorate in Psychology. I earned my Ph.D. in Psychology in Fall 2020.
