I am a Ph.D. candidate from Pakistan, specializing in the intersection of climate change, local governance, and sustainability policy. My academic journey began with Politics and International Relations during my undergraduate years, followed by a Master's in Development Studies. My current research focuses on the vital role of local governments in the Pacific Northwest in leading effective sustainability initiatives amidst the challenges posed by climate change. In addition to my PhD work, I hold a Graduate Certificate in Public Health, which helps me gain a more comprehensive understanding of contemporary issues, such as environmental, occupational, and maternal health issues. Excited to contribute to the School of Public Policy, my aim is to bridge research and policy for a sustainable global future.
