Dwaine Plaza elected President of Pacific Sociological Association

Professor Dwaine Plaza was recently elected President of the Pacific Sociological Association (PSA). Originally established in 1929, PSA serves sociologists in the region–faculty, applied professionals, and students—by providing opportunities for networking and professional development designed to advance scholarly research, promote high-quality teaching and mentorship, and encourage applied sociology for the public good. Dr. Plaza will serve as President for the 2024-25 term.
