Members of the Remote Teaching Peer Support team hail from across the CLA disciplines and teach a full range of online courses including intro-level surveys, WIC classes, graduate courses, and Honors colloquia. The team specializes in online course and assignment design and the effective use of online learning tools.
The team aims to:
Help faculty re-conceptualize their face-to-face classes to achieve learning outcomes in a fully online environment.
Support online course design and the creation of online activities and assignments.
Offer advice about the use of online learning tools for course instruction.
Connect teaching faculty with the appropriate university support for complex questions.
Live help through the CLA-HC Remote Teaching Peer Support team ended at the conclusion of Spring 2020.
Staff from OSU’s Center for Teaching and Learning are available to assist CLA and HC faculty during Summer and Fall 2020. To schedule a 1-on-1 teaching consultation contact CTL@oregonstate.edu.
