The OSU Chamber Music Workshop presents
The 2020 Violin Workshop (Remote)
July 13-17 and July 20-24
Violinists: join us this summer for two weeks of virtual experiences designed to bring together the enthusiasm and intensity of the OSU Chamber Music Workshop, tailored just for violinists and all the things you like to share and discuss about your wonderful instrument.
As our community’s tempo has slowed with the pandemic, its pulse has become stronger. We value our musical community and can strengthen our community online even while we look forward to seeing you again in person for Chamber Music Workshop in 2021!
This summer, we have reworked and condensed the workshop to offer inspiring individual lessons and interactive small group classes for advanced or intermediate violinists. Our stellar violin faculty is comprised of Maria Larionoff, Margaret Baldridge, Paloma Griffin-Hébert and Artistic Director Jessica Lambert. Together, we are excited to spend time with young violinists from across the nation and delve into all things violin!
Course offerings include Morning Masterclass, Concerto Focus Groups, Music Theory, The Etude, Bow Olympics, Tone Production and Movement and more. Additionally, students may register for individual lessons with any faculty member.
Your instrument, and a music stand, of course, along with a computer with reliable internet access and camera, microphone and speakers. The interactive delivery platform, Zoom, will be used.
