The Senior Projects/Seminar class is our capstone class designed for students to take their last term of their studies. We offer it every spring.
The class gives students the opportunity to reflect on their major coursework and create a project that demonstrates the intersection of theory and praxis. It is also the class during which students explore a little bit about feminist research methodologies. The project is designed in consultation with the instructor and can be traditional research-based or creative. The project for this class is to be original to this course although some students build on work done at their internship or an activism project from a previous class. Ideally it will provide students with a tangible demonstration of writing or creation that could be used as part of a grad school or work application.
