Meet with an SLCS Advisor

Before meeting with your advisor:

• Always email from your OSU student email account
• Always include your student ID in your email, but never in the subject line!
• Advisor schedules and emails fill up quickly during registration times. We highly recommend you reach out or schedule an appointment with your advisor 1-2 weeks prior to any registration dates, deadlines, or other due dates.
• Due to federal student privacy laws, others are not allowed to attend student advising appointments unless the student has given pre-authorization. You can complete the Consent to Release Information form to grant access to others to attend your advising appointments.

Meeting Reminders:

• All advising appointments and times shown are scheduled in Pacific Standard Time (PST)
• Cell phones aren’t great for meeting on zoom. Please use your computer to meet virtually. We also tend to share lots of resources during your appointment that you can’t usually get via zoom on your phone.
• Rescheduling appointments is common and ok. Let us know as far ahead of time as you can so other students can take advantage of the open appointment spot!
• If you do not see a confirmation email for your scheduled advising appointment, please check your Junk/Spam folder
