Each week, take excursions to sites in and around London related to course content, such as Bletchley Park where codebreakers unlocked the secrets of the Nazi Enigma machine; Whitechapel; the British Museum; the Buddhapadia Temple; the Central London Mosque; Oxford University; Gay's the Word Bookstore where queer youth organized Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners during the 1980s Welsh miners' strike; Westminster Abbey; West London Synagogue; Old Bailey and the Royal Courts of Justice. We'll also take a multi-day excursion to Cardiff and the Brecon Beacons in Wales.
