The Bachelor of Science in Public Policy can be completed in entirety or in part through the OSU Extended Campus ("Ecampus").

Applicants who are not already Ecampus students can begin the process by enrolling as degree-seeking students through Ecampus: http://ecampus.oregonstate.edu/. Because the BSPP cannot be selected as a major until after an applicant is enrolled at the university, applicants will need to select another major for their initial applications. Since Bachelor of Science degrees within the College of Liberal Arts have specific requirements, the easiest way to see how most transfer credits will count toward the BSPP degree is to declare another major in the College of Liberal Arts with the Bachelor of Science option (like a B.S. in Political Science, Economics, or Sociology). Once applicants are accepted to OSU, they can schedule an appointment with the BSPP advisor to declare the major.

New students should complete the Ecampus online orientation at: http://ecampus.oregonstate.edu/orientation/

After taking the online orientation, students will need to contact the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) Advising Office before enrolling in courses:

Ecampus students also need to meet with the Public Policy Ecampus Advisor, Kali Odell. She can orient you to the program, discuss your public policy coursework, and look at any public policy-related transfer credits. Direct questions about the BSPP to Kali Odell by email or phone: Kali.Odell@oregonstate.edu or (541) 737-2797.

Note: MyDegrees is a great tool to track students' academic progress, but it cannot automatically handle some special topics courses and transfer credits. If you spot any inconsistencies or problems with your MyDegrees, please schedule an appointment with either Kali Odell (for public policy requirements) or the College of Liberal Arts (for Baccalaureate Core or CLA requirements).
