This program is lengthy and in-depth. It's perfectly fine if you feel like a beginner in meditation (most of us do :)! We will cover foundational and intermediate techniques in meditation, so you need not have any formal education in meditative techniques. This program is best suited to those who have grown to value meditation and contemplative practice, and want to invest their time and energy more deeply into the process.

This program is designed to be experiential, providing opportunity for meeting each moment with presence, whatever that brings. We consider this a lifelong journey. The curriculum will cover foundational and intermediate techniques in meditation. Please consider attending our Q&A sessions to discern if this offering fits your interests.

This program is progressive and intends to cultivate community connections and shared language as we move through a long-term study together. Participation is limited to 30, with priority given to participants committed for the full 9-months. If you'd like to register for the first term but you're not sure if you'd like to complete the full program, simply email Kate at ContemplativeStudies@oregonstate.edu. We'll add you to the waitlist, and let you know if there is space to join after the October 8th priority enrollment deadline. No new participants will be enrolled for terms two and three.
