An exploration of embodiment through a blend of mindful yoga asana, functional movement, contemplative wisdom, and intuitive flow.
DanceLab is a space to playfully experiment with moving the body spontaneously through shifting moods and musical shapes - freeing ourselves from the mind’s tyranny of judgment and comparison - into a space of freedom, joy, and plain old fun! Take some time out to let go, cut loose, and honor your movement expression in a welcoming space. Your dance is unique as your fingerprint, while dancing together builds energy and community. There are no steps to learn - it’s freestyle movement inspired by community and a changing selection of evocative and lively music. We close with a meditative cool down and reflection.
This is not a contact-heavy dance space, but please ask for consent for contact dance
Vocalizing, singing, quietude, movement, and stillness are all welcome.
Be aware of and take care of others in the space, avoid trip hazards, and take good care of yourself!

MindLab is a down-to-earth, yet expansive meditation class encouraging a spirit of experimentation and curiosity as we cultivate mindfulness and compassion and explore "inner space." Each session reviews bite-sized psychological themes and philosophical tenets of Buddhism and contemporary mindfulness. This class places a clear emphasis on how practices and ideas are readily applicable to daily life! Observation, discussion, and analysis, paired with heartful reflection, support each individual's research of the interior landscape. MindLab can be attended as a 10-session series or on a drop-in basis; all levels of experience welcome.
Quiet meditation sessions are specifically for those who have already developed an understanding of and have experience in self-guided practice, meditation technique and methodology, and/or open awareness. Practitioners will meet in community, light a candle, stretch and prepare individually for 8-10 minutes, then sit/lay quietly in self-guided practice for 24 minutes. Sessions will close with a dedication or simple, non-sectarian prayer of goodwill. This is not a good space for walking meditation, verbalized mantra practice, audible pranayama or other techniques that conflict with a quiet, still, communal space. For more instruction-based classes, try MindLab, Monday Night Mindfulness, or one of our series programs.
Recovery Dharma meetings offer a trauma-informed and empowered approach to recovery based on Buddhist principles. Meetings are peer-led and non-theistic.
