There are two ways to enroll in the course – one that requires an email address and one that doesn’t.
This course is designed to help individuals cope with the varied effects of the coronavirus and its protection measures on everyday life. The effects are biological, psychological and social and will significantly change how humans interact for the foreseeable future. This course will provide tools and tips for how to cope with the stress and anxiety we all feel. Topics include: how humans make sense of risk; coping with anxiety; managing daily tasks (e.g., learning and work); and what to tell the kids.

Participants will need to successfully complete 80% of the graded assignments on the free Canvas platform to earn a certificate of completion. This course may count toward continuing education (CE) hours depending on the nature of your professional or accrediting organization; check with your relevant agency.
This course combines approximately 120 hours of instruction, online activities, assignments and discussion, which is equivalent to 4 quarter credits. Please join the relevant group (i.e. Continuing Education Hours or Certificate of Completion Only) to indicate to the PSY 499 team that you're seeking one of these records upon completion.
The course will run for 10 weeks from Monday, March 30, 2020 through Friday, June 5, 2020. (OSU students will also have finals week Monday, June 8 – Friday, June 12.)
