David Kerr, PhD, Professor and Lab Director
Dr. Kerr (he/him/his) is a Professor in the School of Psychological Science and licensed clinical psychologist. He leads the Youth Adjustment Lab and collaborates with doctoral students in psychology and public health on their projects. His primary research interests concern prevention of substance misuse and negative consequences for adolescents and young adults.
Harold Bae, PhD, Associate Professor and Biostatistician
Dr. Bae is an Associate Professor in Biostatistics in the School of Biological and Population Health Sciences. His primary expertise is in statistical genetics and genetic epidemiology. Dr. Bae is also a collaborator and co-investigator on multiple studies of the effects of alcohol and cannabis policy on young adults’ adjustment.
Holly Zell, MA, MS, Graduate Research Assistant
Holly (she/they) is a PhD student in psychology at Oregon State University and a licensed professional counselor in the state of Oregon. Holly’s research interests include community based suicide prevention for queer and gender diverse communities, suicide prevention in youth, and community reciprocity as suicide prevention.
Haley Hummel, BS, BA, Graduate Research Assistant
Haley (she/her/hers) is a graduate student in OSU’s Psychology PhD program. She is originally from Phoenix, Arizona and received her B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in Global Health with honors from Arizona State University. Her research seeks to explore how aspects of the systems we live in impact individual-level health behaviors, especially substance use, in order to understand and reduce health disparities. This includes intersections of psychology with policy and public health.
