Art Learning Outcomes

Students who successfully complete a degree in Art will be able to:

  • Demonstrate broad and discipline-specific knowledge of art processes and history. (Literacy)
  • Describe and analyze works of visual art critically and relate them to historical and contemporary contexts. (Critical Thinking)
  • Articulate discipline-specific concepts in writing, orally, and visually. (Communication)
  • Create original art and/or research projects by applying discipline-specific tools, skills, methods, and sources. (Production)
