“Program” refers to any class, private lesson, ensemble, or event, including precollege summer camps and workshops sponsored by the SVPDA Academy.

“Participant” refers to yourself or your minor child for whom you are completing a registration.

Payment

Payment for all SVPDA Academy Programs is due immediately after online registration in order to hold your reservation.

There are two payment options:

  1. Participant may pay online by credit card (billed by "OSU CLA Sales and Events").
  2. Alternatively, participant may pay by mailing a check (make checks payable to Oregon State University), or bring exact cash to:

Please write the camp, class, or event name and the PARTICIPANT’S NAME in the subject line so we can apply your payment to the correct account. We will allow two weeks for the check to arrive in our office. If the check has not been received in that time frame we reserve the right to cancel the participant’s registration and open up the spot for another.  Upon receipt of the check, a confirmation of payment will be sent electronically to the e-mail provided in participant’s registration.

Precollege Summer Program Scholarships

There are a limited number of need and merit based scholarships available for some camps. If a scholarship is available, you will see an option to apply within the registration site. You may apply for scholarship by filling out the form within the registration site. Under the “Registration and Fees” tab of each program, a date will be listed for application deadlines and announcement of scholarship.  If you are awarded a scholarship, we will apply it immediately to the registration.  A confirmation of the scholarship applied will be sent electronically to the e-mail provided in your registration. If the scholarship does not cover the full amount of tuition, you will be responsible for paying the remaining amount once the scholarship has been applied. If you are not able to pay the remaining balance in full and need to withdraw your application, please notify us immediately.

Qualifying individuals may contact our office to arrange a payment plan. Tuition must be paid in full by the start of camp or participation may be denied.  

Refund

Please note that cancelation of a registration must be done by our office staff. Please notify us in writing at sac.academy@oregonstate.edu.
Please allow refunds up to six weeks to process. 
If cancelation is received by April 1st, 2024, a full refund will be issued.
If cancelation is received after April 1st, 2024, or up until 14 days prior to the start of the program, a partial refund of 50% will be issued. 

No refund will be issued if the cancelation is within 14 days of the first day of the program. Please note that cancelation of a registration must be done by our office staff. Please notify us in writing at sac.academy@oregonstate.edu.

Privacy Policy

Oregon State University knows that you care how your information is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. This notice describes our privacy policy for SVPDA Academy.

Information Collection

Within the Ideal Logic registration system, some information will be required to provide adequate services, accommodations, and billing. Additional information collected on this site, and within the registration portal is voluntary.  This site activity data is used only for standard reporting purposes to evaluate program content and performance. 

Disclosure

Oregon State University adheres to all State and Federal statutes and regulations that prohibit information disclosure for students, employees and other constituents. Oregon State University will not sell, trade, or otherwise disclose any person identifiable information in any manner that is not in conformity with applicable State or Federal statutes.

Oregon State University takes appropriate steps to communicate all privacy policies and guidelines to all employees. 

Security

Oregon State University is fully committed to data security. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure your information. The security of your information is protected during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts transmitted information. We will continue to enhance our security procedures as new technology becomes available.

We urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal data. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your access codes and to your computer. Do not share your access codes with others. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
