Brandt Bridges, who graduated in 2022 with a bachelor of arts in English and minors in Writing, Spanish, and Chemistry has been selected for a prestigious Fulbright U.S. Student Program by the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. He’ll spend next year in Mexico as a teaching assistant, with big plans to go into educational administration in the future. Expect a full feature on Brandt and his Fulbright experience in next year’s issue. For now, join us in congratulating him on a huge achievement!

We also want to congratulate two SWLF-based students who were Fulbright semi-finalists this year: Jeremy Klemin (Creative Writing MFA, 2023), and Sukhjot Sal (English Honors BA, 2023).
