Chad Rodgers is entering his 3rd year at OSU as Instructor/Technical Director/Production Manager. Chad received his bachelor’s degree in his native state from Idaho State University where he began his career in education, teaching high school theatre and speech but decided to leave secondary education to pursue his master’s degree.

In May 2014, Chad graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with his M.F.A. in Technical Production. While at North Carolina, Chad worked closely with UNC’s Department of Dramatic Art undergraduate program as well as a Lort D professional theatre, PlayMakers Repertory Company. During his travels, Chad has worked at Oklahoma State University Department of Theatre and with theatre companies in Oregon, Florida, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, Virginia, Idaho and North Carolina. Chad’s technical interests are in theatrical rigging and metal fabrication.
