My main interest is in the area of Environmental Psychology and how we design and utilize our surroundings, especially natural environments, to enhance our wellbeing and performance. This interest grew out of my earlier research on autism and dyslexia and the notion that we can modify our environment to be the best version of ourselves. At this time, my work focuses on the positive health effects of natural environments, the collateral benefit of increased environmental awareness, and how we can close the gap between environmental awareness and pro-environmental behaviors.
