The Speech Communication department is excited to award two scholarships to Speech Communication students for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Students must be majoring in Pre-Communication or Speech Communication, have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above and have an expressed desire to work in the field of communication following graduation from the university. While not required, preference will be shown to applicants who have participated in 4-H programs, and/or have graduated from a high school in Union or Wallowa Counties in Oregon.
Full-time undergrad students majoring in Speech Communication. Shall be a junior or a senior. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above and demonstrate involvement in extra-curricular speech and/or theatre activities. Financial need shall not be a criterion in making this award.
