My teaching and research focus on the History of Human Rights, Genocide Education & Prevention, Global Women's Movements, Masculinities & Feminisms, Modern Germany, and Digital Pedagogy.
I have received grants and awards from the Central European History Society, German Historical Institute, Clough Center for the Study of Democracy, Women in German, and the Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD).
