Waseq Billah is a student of the PhD program at the School of Public Policy, Oregon State University. He originates from Bangladesh and has previously served as a Research Associate with the NSU-KGF Project at the School of Business and Economics (SBE), North South University. He also worked as a Research Assistant at the Nutrition and Clinical Services Division (NCSD) of icddrb, Bangladesh. He holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) and a Master of Social Sciences from the University of Dhaka, majoring in Public Administration. Waseq also participated in the esteemed NASPAA-Batten International Policy Simulation Competition in 2019. His team from Dhaka University clinched the "South Asian Regional Winners" Medal during the event hosted at North South University in February 2019. His expertise encompasses diverse areas including public policy, development administration, public management, and international development. His aspiration is to leverage his accumulated knowledge, honed skills, and experiences to drive developmental initiatives not only within Bangladesh but also around the world.
