Patagonia Study Abroad
I am an English Major, and a second year Oregon State student who transferred from community college. I am a person who loves to stay active whether hiking, running, being outdoors with friends, or traveling. I write creatively, read a lot, spend time on all kinds of art, and cook. One thing I appreciate the most about Oregon State University is all of the opportunities the school has for its students to enjoy the outdoors and natural resources which is what I used the scholarship for. In my case, I went to Patagonia for a faculty led abroad trip studying sustainability and protected areas in Patagonia. I met so many kind and enthusiastic people, and learned about a different culture, two things I enjoy the most in life!
