The Center for the Humanities

Each year, the Center hosts and co-sponsors humanities-related events that enrich intellectual life at OSU and make humanities research accessible to a wider audience. Intended to supplement other resources, a modest amount of funding is available to support events on campus and in the community and fellowships are also supported.

Research Office Incentives Program

The OSU Research Office offers research incentives via seed support, time release, equipment support. Reach out to the Research Office and inquire.

Library Resident Scholar Program

The Resident Scholar Program, sponsored by the Oregon State University Libraries Special Collections & Archives Research Center and supported by the Friends of OSU Libraries Fund, awards stipends of up to $2,500 per month, renewable for up to three months. (for a total maximum grant award of $7,500) Stipends will be awarded to researchers whose proposals detail a compelling potential use of the materials held in the OSU Libraries Special Collections or University Archives. Grant monies can be used for any purpose.  Not offered in 2021-2022.

Ecampus Research Fellows Program

"Ecampus Research Fellows will be funded for one year to complete an independent research project on a topic related to online teaching and learning." Funds are typically available up to $20,000.
