Music Technology & Production Camp (Remote)

July 12-16, 2021

An online summer camp experience for students ages 13-18 who want to learn how to use technology to make music. Real-time virtual instruction from music production experts and synchronous, collaborative, peer-led activities will be balanced with independent self-paced instruction in songwriting, composition, sound design, post production, and critical listening. Students will work both independently and collaboratively to create and modify sound, make beats, mix and master music with audio software. The week will culminate in a showcase of student work.

Necessary Equipment

All participants will need computer and internet access for the duration of the camp. In addition, students will need an email account with access to Google Drive (for file upload).

  • 9:00 - 9:50 a.m. - Session 1
  • 9:50 - 10:00 a.m. - Break
  • 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. - Session 2
  • 11:30 a.m - 12:30 p.m. - Lunch
  • 12:30 - 1:45 p.m. - Session 3
  • 1:45 - 2:00 p.m - Break
  • 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. - Session 3
