Overview

Graduate training in the School of Psychological Science at OSU started in the Fall of 2016. We are a research-intensive (non-Clinical) program located on the Corvallis campus, offering full-time students a variety of hands-on opportunities and close faculty working relationships. Our graduate program owes its strength to the quality of our research faculty and well-organized programs of study in several areas of research specialization. 

Graduate students form an integral part of the School’s research and teaching activities and they represent the future of psychology research and discovery.

Admissions

Applications for Fall 2022 admission to the Psychology PhD program at Oregon State University with concentrations in Health Psychology, Applied Cognition, or Engineering Psychology will open in September 2021 (deadline December 3, 2021): https://gradschool.oregonstate.edu/admissions.  Applicants are not required to take the GRE or submit a GRE score report when applying. If applicants elect to submit GRE scores, the admissions committee will review the scores as part of the holistic evaluation process, but such applications will not be judged more or less favorably than applications submitted without GRE scores.
