The School of Psychological Science (SPS) has advising appointments available throughout the year. Advisors help students with sequencing of pre-requisites and major requirements, graduate school, and OSU academic regulations and policies.

COVID-19 Update

All advising appointments are being conducted through Zoom or over the phone. Your advisor will send you a Zoom link or call you (the number may show as "unknown" or "no caller ID") at your scheduled appointment time.

Prospective students or those who are not current OSU students will need to email the School of Psychological Science or call 541-737-2311 to schedule an appointment.

You can email your advisor with questions: Ashleigh Anderson, Katie Harvey, or Nathan Walters

New Transfer Students for Fall 2020

Transfer students starting OSU in Corvallis for fall 2020 will need to go through OSU's START Orientation Program. Once you complete the psychology survey an SPS advisor will reach out to you via email to schedule your appointment.

*First-year students will meet with the College of Liberal Arts Student Services Advisors.

Who is my advisor?

First-year psychology students are advised by advisors in the College of Liberal Arts Student Services Office during START orientation, fall, and winter terms. Their phone number 541-737-0561 and their office is in Bexell 214.

All students are required to meet with their academic advisor once each spring term to get a PIN prior to being able to register for Fall term courses. Most students choose to meet with an advisor twice a year.
