Hey! My name is Comet and I’m originally from Arizona but am now happy to call Oregon home. As a designer and artist, I strive to challenge the status quo of how we think about communicating messages and am passionate about ‘designing for good’. When I’m not designing, however, you will likely find me hanging out with my cat Batman, tending to my collection of houseplants, cooking, baking, painting, or who knows what else!

Driven by an insatiable curiosity and a passion for discovery, I love thriving on and exploring new, weird, odd, and out-of-the-box ideas, skills, and perspectives. Whether I’m lost in books or culture, experimenting with creative projects, or picking up a new hobby just for the fun of it, I find joy in the journey of lifelong learning. For every day is an opportunity to ask questions, seek answers, experiment, grow just a little bit more, sleep, and pet a cat or two.

Hello! I’m Emma, a graphic designer who finds inspiration in unexpected places. I love working with color and illustration but I also have a diverse range of aesthetic tastes—what I love most is experimenting with different looks and techniques! When I’m not designing you can probably find me somewhere near water, with my dog, eating fish and chips. The two best things about design (in my humble opinion) are: 1) creating a compelling story, and 2) collaborating with others.

I’m Ivy Parker, a senior graduating from Oregon State University with a BFA in Graphic Design. For me, designing is the most important thing I can do for myself—it’s how I express, process, and connect. I believe design is a powerful tool to inform and inspire, and I want to use it to help others see their potential. I’ve loved building meaningful connections with my peers, and I’m excited to start a new chapter at 22, ready to make a difference through creativity and heart.

I’m a jack-of-all-trades who refuses to be put into any one box. Life is a banquet of experiences, and I fancy myself a gourmand, so I strive to try new things. The staples of my appetite for adventure tend to be in the imaginative worlds of digital media and popular culture, but the garnishes and spices that flavor day-to-day hobbies and endeavors are things like travel, acting, archery, blacksmithing, and any enriching pursuits that inform my understanding and appreciation of the world around me.

Hi, I’m Juls McKinney! I’m a graphic designer and illustrator based in the Pacific Northwest, originally from Cody, Wyoming. I specialize in branding, illustration, and creating intentional design systems. My work combines creative problem-solving with typography, layout, and photography. Outside of design, I enjoy hiking, running trails, and capturing nature through my 35mm film camera. Nature deeply influences my designs, shaping my approach to composition and narrative. I’m always seeking new ways to expand my creativity and make art that’s both meaningful and impactful.

Hello, my name is Sanghoon Lee, a graphic designer who has studied and graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in graphic design. During the courses, I learned and experienced many fields, topics, and themes related to graphic design and made my own projects. My projects focus on storytelling, so most of my work involves creating books, magazines, and logos that utilize a variety of illustrations I have also designed. I believe that making and delivering good illustrations can be connected to good graphic design as well.

Whether it’s fused glass, ceramics, silkscreen printing, or digital work, I enjoy blending different mediums to create meaningful and eye-catching visuals. I’ve worked on everything from social media graphics to exhibition curation, and I’m passionate about using art to connect people and spark creativity. I believe good design should feel personal, welcoming, and fun.

I’m Aidan Korbich, a graphic designer and illustrator from Portland Oregon. I’ve been subconsciously laying out pages and organizing ideas since I was a baby, and now as a professional I get to utilize that passion to help communicate and create in the real world. My love for design bleeds into my hobbies too from digital art, playing video games, and building model kits. Between art and design I love exploring different applications for my skills both in and out of the workplace!

Hi, my name is Kelly Kiel. I grew up in Western Washington and spent a few years living in Alaska before coming to Oregon State University. My interests are sustainability, environmentalism, music, video games, and visual arts. I love graphic design because of how diverse the work can be and all the unique opportunities it can provide. I am looking forward to getting started in the industry, and hope that I can leave a positive lasting impression on the world throughout my career.
