Hi! My name is Geneva Dixon, and I’m a graphic designer and illustrator. In addition to designing, you can find me doodling, thrifting, watching movies, or snuggling with my cats. My go-to typefaces are Futura; practical with a fun twist, and HVD Rowdy, the perfect blend of punk and whimsy. My biggest inspiration for graphic design comes from my childhood books, which started my passion, and continues to be the goal for my future...hopefully in publication design!

Hi, I’m Ellie Counts! I’m passionate about pop culture, motion graphics, and social media marketing. I’m so excited for graduation and all of the new experiences & opportunities that come with it! As a designer, I prioritize design as visual communication. I believe good design not only matches but amplifies the message. In addition, I love the strategy and problem-solving aspects of design! It’s like those Gordian knot puzzles–you can’t put it down until you find the solution.

Creativity and imagination are key to making dreams a reality. Critical thinking and problem solving are necessary skills to find new ways for solving everyday obstacles. A background in engineering courses allows me to match my inventiveness with textbook knowledge, thus extending my STEM skills into my design work. I thrive in energetic, collaborative environments and solo endeavors where I can utilize my skills of organization, motivation, focus and individuality. Design depends on these skills, and keep humanity a crucial and necessary aspect of art.

 Hi, I’m Holly, a designer in love with the process of print and editorial design. I grew up cutting and collaging my mom’s magazines which led me to fall in love with design. While much of my work is created digitally, whenever I have the chance to get my hands dirty, I jump at the opportunity. I’m drawn to anything weird, wild, and shiny and want that to be reflected in everything I do.

 My name is Brandon Stephenson, and I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I’ve been interested in visual art my entire life and excited to put it into practice after graduation! Outside of graphic design, I like to spend time with friends, listen to the same songs until I get sick of them, and tackle personal art projects when I have the time. I love to learn new things and hope to get into music production when I graduate.

Heyy! My name is Stella Sherburn and I'm proudly from Northern California. I like spending my time at music festivals, road tripping, swimming, and playing music/singing. I am super excited to have more time to work on personal creative projects and to garden, cook and spend time with friends and family once I get back home. I'm very happy to have my newfound background in design to jumpstart an apprenticeship and (hopefully) my career as a tattoo artist.

Growing up in Alaska taught me two things: how to filet a halibut, and how to make people pay attention. I’m Vianne Sarber, a graphic designer focused on bridging the gap between smart design and salesmanship. My hands are usually covered in porcelain clay or clacking away at my keyboard, digging into how visuals influence customer decisions. With experience in tourism branding and product design, I am always on a mission to move the sales numbers. My roots are rugged, but my design thinking is anything but!

Also, I’m a senior designer and photographer with the MU Creative Studio, a contributing photographer for OSU Extension Services, and a former intern with the Hood River Latino Network. After graduation I want to move to the city to pursue my one true love of graphic design.
