The BSPP advisor helps majors with academic and career planning. That includes developing long term degree plans, selecting classes and other courses of study, incorporating study abroad options, exploring career options, and applying to internships and jobs. Students who have sophomore standing and above need to meet with the BSPP advisor at least once a year to secure their registration PINs for the next academic year, and are encouraged to meet with her more frequently. Students dealing with academic challenges or personal issues that are impacting their academics should consult with the BSPP advisor to create a resource plan for support.
Prospective students are encouraged to meet with the BSPP advisor to learn more about the public policy discipline and how to declare the major.

"I love working with undergraduate students to make the most of their educational experiences. I'm here to support students as they explore and set academic and career goals and figure out how to achieve them. I'm a frontline resource for all public policy majors and can help students figure out what tools they need to be successful in tackling challenges both big and small."
