The Sociology program grants a variety of student awards at the end of each school year. These awards come with money awards, certificates, or both.

Scholarships
Nicole Lynne Kephart Emergency Fund Scholarship
The Nicole Lynne Kephart Emergency Fund awards short-term scholarships to OSU Sociology majors experiencing a financial hardship. Financial hardship may arise from various circumstances, including (but not limited to) unforeseen medical expenses, loss of income, forced residential move, or loss of transportation. The award is intended to assist students who encounter unexpected or unusual expenses or events that prevent them from earning or using regular income as planned for education purposes.

Experiential Learning Scholarship
This scholarship supports undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Public Policy engaging in experiential learning opportunities. Such experiences may include internships, simulations, field schools, mock trials, and other similar programs.
