Olga Blomgren teaches 20^th and 21^st century literatures in the School of Writing, Literature and Film. She focuses her research on questions of mobilities, citizenship, language, and power posed by diasporic authors and artists. She is interested in the ways multilingual, diasporic, and transregional authors and artists destabilize existing categories – such as those of discipline and nation – and through their work continue to question post-imperial geographies as well as the concept of a homogenous global English. Her current project explores the intersections between archipelagic poetics, literary studies, translation studies, and mobilities research.
