Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Minor

Minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSSS) (27 credits)

A total of 27 credits are required for the minor, with at least 12 credits at the upper-division level. The remaining 7 credits may be taken from Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies electives and from approved program courses offered in other departments. An approved program course is one that has a focus on gender and/or women’s issues, is taught in a unit other than the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program, and has been approved as fulfilling the requirements of a Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program course in consultation with your WGSS advisor. In addition, WGSS 410 Internship (1-3) may be taken as an elective for the minor. No more than 3 credits of WGSS 402 Independent Study and WGSS 410 Internship may count toward the minor. For the on-campus minor, all required course work must be taken on campus and no more than 3 credits of online elective course work can be used toward the minor.
