The research practicum was developed to provide students the opportunity to work in the field under the guidance of an on site supervisor. Students can take a minimum of 12 credits of PPOL 610 to satisfy the program's practicum opportunity. Research practicums should involve appropriate responsibilities and assignments in such areas as research, policy analysis, report writing, planning, administration, and public policy. Most practicums will be a minimum of 10 weeks, although some students may be able to serve a longer period. While the program encourages students to identify their own practicums, we also welcome inquiries from potential sponsors. Please contact the Director of the Public Policy Graduate Program at:
