The Director of the American Studies Center at the University of Warsaw, Grzegorz Kosc, recently visited Oregon State University's College of Liberal Arts to help coordinate and promote a pilot faculty exchange program with CLA faculty members.
The program has been developed by Raymond Malewitz, former Fulbright Distinguished Scholar at the ASC in 2021-22, in cooperation with Tomasz Basiuk, IAiE Director, and Grzegorz Kosc. Every year an OSU faculty member will come to Warsaw to offer a course at ASC and one faculty from the Center will visit Oregon State to teach two courses. This year's faculty will be, respectively, Karen Holmberg and Paweł Frelik.
The program will bring OSU professors representing disciplines and specializations either unique or underrepresented at the Center to Warsaw, Poland while distinguished ASC faculty will have an opportunity to teach and conduct research at Oregon State.
