Emily Burgess has been selected as the recipient of the 2022 WAGS/ProQuest Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award in humanities, social sciences, education, and business disciplines. This award recognizes distinguished scholarly achievement at the master’s level. In addition to this prestigious award, the nomination for her thesis entitled, “Visual Hindsight Bias and Emotion Perception”, will be advanced as OSU’s nominee for consideration in the regional Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award competition sponsored by the Western Association of Graduate Schools (WAGS) and ProQuest. This as a great honor and we are exceptionally pleased to be able to recognize the outstanding scholarship and creativity that Emily has demonstrated.

The institutional award carries a monetary value of $1,000.
