We're excited to have this series selected as an "Online Resource Recommended by AP English Teachers" on the College Board website!

Since 2019, the Oregon State Guide to English Literary Terms has served as a free, online, creative commons (CC BY) resource for literature and creative writing teachers and students within and beyond the United States. Attracting thousands of readers and viewers each day, the series offers short lessons designed to help our global audience engage meaningfully with challenging literary texts. To see the videos and their transcripts, please click on the links below. To support our diverse audiences, we have also added Spanish as well as English subtitles to many of our videos (marked in orange).
